Tribal Fusion

This is a style that spreads from traditional dances, classical and folkloric of the Arab world, to fuse with other dance styles and movements such as yoga, contemporary dance, hip hop, Butô, improvisation, etc. so to bring a unique originality and theatrality into its expression.

Tribal Fusion dance classes take place every Monday from 7.30 pm to 8.30 pm.
Come with comfortable clothes, no need for special jewelry or sequined belts, so you can have a better listening of the rhythm.

Diafa Danse

Ahlam Tsouli

Artistic director of Diafa Danse and the dance company Ahlam Tsouli, organizer of 'Alwan', the 1st oriental dance festival in Geneva. Professor of Oriental Dance, Dance Fusion, Yoga, DanceFit and various folklores of the Arab world.

Ahlam Tsouli teaches in Geneva since 1988, and founded in 2002 her Geneva studio, Diafa Dance, to engage fully in the creation and teaching of dance.

Her high-level athletic training has shaped her work as a choreographer-dancer. Olympic discipline par excellence, athletics brought her essential sporting values, such as search of surpassing herself and the perfect gesture. Through the practice of elite sport for ten years, Ahlam also acquired knowledge of anatomy, diet and different techniques of work on the dissociation of movement that is essential to the practice of dance, a fine muscular work and above all the visualization of the movements from the inside.
